Postdoc in cell biology (Basel, Switzerland)

Applications are invited for a post-doctoral positions at the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics, Dept. of Biomedicine at the University of Basel.
 
The interest of the lab is in spatio-temporal signaling dynamics during cell migration and neuronal differentiation using state of the art imaging techniques. In the current project, funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation,
a wide variety of projects are possible on the topics of spatio-temporal signaling dynamics during cell migration or neuronal differentiation or local mRNA translation during neurite outgrowth/repair.

We are looking for a talented and highly motivated cell biologist. Experience with live cell imaging, cell culture, computational approaches for image analysis are a plus. Excellent spoken and written English is required. This position will start on the 1st of december and last for at least 2 years. Salary is in accordance with the guidelines of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
