EU NematodeSystemHealth Project
Applications are invited for two Marie Curie doctoral fellowships at the Animal Breeding Group of the Bayerische Landesanstalt für Landwirtschaft in Grub, close to Munich, to undertake research on immunogenetic analysis of nematode infections.
This position is available within an ITN Marie-Curie project NematodeSystemHealth (http://www.gla.ac.uk/researchinstitutes/bahcm/researchcentres/boydorr/vacancies/nematodesystemhealth/). The project offers comprehensive research training in genetics of nematode infections. The employment will be temporary for a specified period. Duration of the contract will be 1 + 2 years, maximum. Additional condition of employment is to begin with a PhD-appointment for a period of 3 years. Salary will be in accordance with the EC Marie Curie Fellowship scale.
The successful candidate must
• have a Master or equivalent degree in the field of molecular genetics, immunology, or bioinformatics (e.g. Animal Breeding and Genetics, Biology or Veterinary Science)
• have no more than four years of postgraduate research experience (inclusive of any PhD training)
• not have resided or carried out their main activity in Germany for more than 12 months in the 3 years prior to appointment.
