A PhD position is availble at the Neurology, Abt. Molecular Cell Biology, University Hospital Bonn, Germany.

The research focus is on the characterization of molecular mechanisms of subcellular trafficking and unconventional secretion of insulin-degrading enzyme. For reference see Glebov at el. JBC (http://www.jbc.org/content/286/26/22711.long)

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and team-oriented student with interest in molecular neuroscience with preferable background in cell and molecular biology, neurobiology or biochemistry. Lab experience with animals, microscopy and common mol. biol. techniques is required.

We offer to work in a young and motivated team in a well equipped lab. Salary will be according to the German salary scale TV-L E13 (50%). The University of Bonn is an equal opportunity employer.
