PhD in "Lasing Networks in Semiconductors" (Berlin),Germany

A new PhD position on "Lasing Networks in Semiconductors" (Experiment)
will be available at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Department of
Physics, Photonics Group (Prof. Fritz Henneberger). It is part of the
recently established International Research Training Group "Dynamical
Phenomena in Complex Networks: Fundamentals and Applications", wich is
expected to start October 2011. Admission to the PhD program requires a
Master or a Diploma degree, or their equivalent. The candidate is
expected to have broad interests and a solid background in nonlinear
physics, in particular in the fields of semiconductors and lasers.
She/he will perform experimental work in close interaction with the
theoretical partner in Brasil.  Active contributions to the overall
collaboration within  the framework of the training group are expected.
