1 PhD Graduate Research Assistantship
In the framework of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center 32 (TR 32) on
“Subsurface-Land Surface-Atmospheric Feedbacks under a range of land cover conditions”
Students with interest in Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Atmospheric sciences, and Environmental Modeling are encouraged to apply. You will be working in a productive, multidisciplinary environment within the TR32 project. Prerequisites for the position are a Master degree in
Environmental Engineering, Meteorology, Geosciences, or similar field, and English writing.
Experience in open source code, Linux, and Parallel Processing is highly desirable. Programming skills in C, Fortran, and/or Matlab are an advantage.
This is a 3 year PhD position (starting on 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2014). Salary is 75% of Tvöd 13 level 1 (approximately 1300 Euro net salary per month).
