Ph.D. position -- Wireless Sensor Networks,Darmstadt, Germany

The newly established professorship for Wireless Sensor Networks at
the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
of the Technische Universität Darmstadt is soliciting qualified
applications for a Ph.D. position. The position is to be filled
as soon as possible.

The professorship Wireless Sensor Networks is associated to the
Multimedia Communitacations Lab KOM (www.kom.tu-darmstadt.de) and to
the Research Cluster Cocoon www.cocoon.tu-darmstadt.de/cocoon/.

The holder of this Ph.D. position will perform research in the field
of wireless sensor networks. Examples of specific research topics
include: the design and evaluation of a generic methodology for the
analysis of the performance analysis of wireless sensor network
protocols; novel techniques for inspecting and debugging distributed
sensing systems; energy-efficient, adaptive data collection protocols;
integration and intelligent control of sensors and actuators in a
distributed environment.
