invites applications for a Postdoctoral Position (2 years contract)
at the interface of physics and biology. The research topic will be
on quantifying spatiotemporal protein dynamics during cell division.
Methods will be advanced light microscopy techniques and (potentially)
simulations. The position is to be filled as soon as possible, a PhD
in physics, chemistry or cell/molecular biology is required.
The University of Bayreuth, Germany provides an excellent environment
for interdisciplinary research due to its research focus on soft
matter and biological physics, nonlinear dynamics, molecular biology,
and macromolecular chemistry.
