This DFG project is part of the SFB629 (http://www.uni-muenster.de/Biologie/Forschen/sfb_629.html).
The successful candidate has completed a PhD in the Life Sciences and will possess expertise and experience in cell biology (signalling pathways), molecular biology and microbiology and an interest in imaging technologies. Solid knowledge in basic immunology and skills in common laboratory techniques (cloning, SDS-PAGE, Western-Blotting, qRT-PCR, IF, ELISA etc.) and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team are prerequisites. Experience in supervising advanced students is helpful.
We offer fully equipped state-of-the-art S2 laboratories including access to sophisticated technologies in the stimulating environment of the Center for Molecular Biology of Inflammation (ZMBE) (http://zmbe.uni-muenster.de/index.htm) at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (Germany).
The position is funded according to TV-L E13 and is available initially for 24 months but might be extended another year. Start: negotiable but not later than January 3, 2012. Informative applications are expected until September 15, 2011.
