A Ph.D. position is available in the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian, Spain. Among other activities, the position involves software development (in the C programing language) for a new computational method in drug design. The method is based on combining Thermodynamic Integration technique with the Replica Exchange method (using the GROMACS software package) to predict protein-ligand binding modes and affinities. Gross salary is approximately € 21,000 per year.
