The optimal candidate holds a Ph.D. in chemistry (or related discipline) and has a strong background in at least one of the fields of protein engineering, chemical biology, or synthetic biology. An excellent publication record is mandatory. Solid knowledge in protein expression and purification is desired. Experience in protein modification by synthetic methods or in molecular biology is advantageous.
